Bachelor of Engineering Program in Environmental Engineering
The Environmental Engineering Program was designed to focus on prevention and minimizing the adverse effects of pollution created by human activities on the national, regional and global scales.
Major topics of teaching and research in the program include:
- Design of conventional and advanced water and wastewater treatment
- Integrated systems for solid and hazardous waste management
- Control of air pollution, noise and vibration
- Remediation of contaminated land and subsurface
- Environmental management tools for organizations such as environmental impact assessment, environmental risk assessment, and environmental management systems.
The Environmental Engineering Program was accredited by Thailand’s Council of Engineers whereby graduates can apply for their professional license to practice environmental engineering.
The 4th year student in this program can apply for the 6 month cooperative education program abroad at selected institutions to strengthen their English skills and working ability in the environmental engineering arena. This program is offered by the Department of Environmental Engineering, which has cooperation agreements with various international institutions.
